Daniel Buck is currently working in Los Angeles as a visual effects lighting artist for feature films and commercials, with focus in the areas of lighting, shaders, camera work and compositing.
Daniel's photography is often a mixture of the old and the new. He enjoys using the older style large format hardware and the more traditional methods, but enjoys mixing those hardware characteristics and work flows with modern technology and techniques. His knowledge and experience with visual effects lighting, compositing and camera work gives him a somewhat unique sense of lighting and lensing in his photography work, and a very solid digital processing background.
